The firm's sourcing was directly tied to Dmitry Bosov's industry relationships from his early career at Rusal and his deep knowledge of the Russian industrial landscape. Deals typically involved acquiring distressed or undervalued resource and real-estate assets directly from local operators. The process was relationship-driven and opaque by Western standards, relying on direct negotiation rather than formal auction or fund processes.

The firm operated as a proprietary investment company managing the capital of its founder and a small circle of co-investors. After Bosov's death, the entity's structure has remained a closed, proprietary vehicle for its direct owners.

Following Dmitry Bosov's death in May 2020, control of his assets passed to his family and business partners.
