Bhavin Shah is the founder, CEO, and sole portfolio manager. His investment process is built on primary research and direct management access — a skill set developed during his tenure as head of India technology research at JP Morgan. The firm does not employ a separate CIO or sector-analyst team that independently initiates positions.

The firm runs a concentrated, long-only public-equity portfolio of 12 to 18 Indian-listed companies. The strategy is benchmark-agnostic and focuses on enterprise software, consumer technology, and financial services. Position sizing is driven by multi-year earnings visibility and founder-quality assessments rather than index representation.

Shah's sourcing relies on relationships built over two decades of covering Indian technology companies as a sell-side analyst. The firm prioritizes direct meetings with management teams, channel checks inside India's software and services corridors, and fundamental earnings-model scrutiny. Sameeksha does not participate in pre-IPO rounds, venture-stage deals, or external manager commitments.

Sameeksha Investment Managers is structured as an asset manager operating through an LLP. It is not a family office, though its founder-led, concentrated mandate shares governance similarities with single-family investment vehicles. The firm manages capital for external clients rather than exclusively for Bhavin Shah's personal wealth.

The portfolio consists of Indian-domiciled companies. Many holdings generate revenue from North America and Europe — particularly India's IT services exporters — but the firm does not directly invest in securities listed on foreign exchanges or in unlisted overseas entities.
