SEA SISTERS INC

Sea Sisters Inc. is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization headquartered in Napa, United States, that helps military parents attend their sailor's or Marine's boot camp graduation when travel costs are out of reach. It was founded by Jennifer Sindewald, a Navy daughter and Navy mom whose three sons serve as U.S. sailors and whose daughter is a Marine. The organization provides direct financial support covering airfare, bus or train fare, gas and mileage, vehicle rental, and hotel accommodations. Assistance depends on available funds and is awarded on a first-come, first-served basis, with partial grants possible when resources are limited. Applicants receive a follow-up within seven days of submitting their application. All donations are tax-deductible under EIN 47-1177587, and all proceeds go directly toward helping military parents with travel and lodging costs. Every year, more than 40,000 sailors graduate from the Navy's only boot camp at Great Lakes, and Sea Sisters aims to ensure more parents are in the stands for that milestone.
