Founded in 1999 and chaired by veteran Singaporean businessman Koh Boon Hwee, SGX operates as a publicly listed corporate investor headquartered in downtown Singapore. Operating companies include the SGX securities and derivatives exchange, the Marketnode digital assets joint venture with Temasek, and the Climate Impact X carbon marketplace.
