SNET Investment

Nobuhiro Koizumi leads the investment committee as Representative Director and President, supported by directors Daiki Maekawa and Hiroki Nakanishi. All three spent significant earlier portions of their careers at Shinkin Capital, where they collectively oversaw capital deployment and M&A advisory for over 100 small and medium enterprises, before launching SNET Investment in 2022.

SNET structures each investment vehicle as a dedicated partnership with a single shinkin bank, including Amagasaki Shinkin Bank, Shinonome Shinkin Bank, Tokyo Higashi Shinkin Bank, and Tama Shinkin Bank. These regional lenders embed SNET's equity capital directly into the bank's existing client-relationship workflow, producing deal flow around business succession and growth financing without an external auction process.

SNET acts as a direct investment manager, deploying capital through explicitly named investment limited partnerships co-branded with each partner shinkin institution. Each vehicle makes equity investments into unlisted small and medium enterprises rather than purchasing stakes in other funds.

The firm's official mandate covers companies at growth, succession, turnaround, and venture stages, with a practical emphasis on small-business generational transitions and growth capital. The focus is on established regional enterprises rather than early-stage technology startups.

SNET Investment is the fund management entity within the SNET Group, which also includes two consulting companies — SNET Kansai Business Consulting and SNET Tokyo Business Consulting. These sister firms provide post-investment operational and business-planning support to portfolio companies alongside the investment team.
