Symmetry Peak Management

Co-founder Raymond G. Garea serves as Managing Partner and Chief Investment Officer, holding primary responsibility for all investment decisions. Garea built the firm's concentrated portfolio and manages the research process. Co-founder Peter H. Wortman oversees the firm's legal, compliance, and operational infrastructure, keeping the investment and operational functions separated.

Symmetry Peak is classified as a Tiger Cub, a term describing hedge funds launched by alumni of Julian Robertson's Tiger Management. The firm's concentrated long/short equity strategy, fundamental research focus, and Greenwich location are consistent with the Tiger Cub blueprint. Both co-founders brought direct experience from other platforms within this lineage.

Symmetry Peak runs a concentrated, fundamentally driven long/short equity strategy. The firm takes concentrated positions in companies it believes are mispriced by the market, holding longs for multi-year periods while shorting companies with deteriorating fundamentals. The portfolio focuses on technology, media, and financial services in developed Western markets.

Symmetry Peak operates solely as a direct public-equities investor and does not participate in private fund commitments. The firm's mandate is limited to listed securities, and it does not allocate capital to third-party managers or private vehicles.

Symmetry Peak does not offer co-investment slots to external parties, as its mandate is to manage a single, internally run long/short equity strategy. The firm does not syndicate trade ideas or operate club-style investment vehicles.
