Trilantic Europe

The firm is co-led by Jeremy Hand (Co-Founder & Managing Partner) along with a team of partners across each office. The investment committee is based in London and Luxembourg and makes final decisions on commitments above a certain threshold.

The firm has historically avoided early-stage venture investments, pure technology startups with no revenue, and speculative real estate development. It avoids sectors like retail, hospitality, and fossil-fuel extraction.

Trilantic Europe and Trilantic North America are separate entities under a shared brand name. They share no capital pools or investment committees, but collaborate on cross-border deal referrals and industry expertise. The European arm operates independently from its Luxembourg base.

Trilantic Europe primarily invests through its own fund vehicles (buyout and infrastructure funds) and direct co-investments alongside institutional LPs. It does not act as a fund-of-funds or invest in other managers' vehicles as a limited partner.
