Udimec was founded in 1900 as a foundation serving the industrial ecosystem of Isère, France. It functions as the local territorial representation of UIMM, the powerful French industry association, embedding it deeply in regional manufacturing and technology policy. Its leadership includes President Cédric Perres, who also serves as Director General of industrial equipment firm Sames, and Executive Director Elnou Henry. The foundation operates a multi-pronged strategy centered on buyout transactions and direct business services.
