Valida Pension Management was established in 2008 to centralize pension administration for Raiffeisen and UNIQA clients. Martin Sardelic serves as Chairman and CEO. The firm operates separate legal vehicles for employee and self-employed occupational provisions while providing consulting on scheme design. Asset allocation spans real estate, private equity, infrastructure, commodities, and microfinance. Confirmed holdings include the Social Housing Projects portfolio valued at 23.2 million USD, the Care Homes Portfolio at 21.1 million USD, and a General Real Estate Portfolio of 800 million USD. Additional exposure runs through the Valida Private Debt Fund SA, SICAV-RAIF and the Valida Private Equity Fund in Luxembourg. Geographic reach covers Austria, other European markets, and select global microfinance and commodity positions. The firm employs 146 professionals. It maintains 100 percent ownership of Valida Consulting GesmbH and Valida Private Debt Fund SA through Valida Holding AG. In February 2023 Sardelic spoke at the IPE Conference & Awards in Vienna on asset allocation and liability-driven strategies. Valida also holds memberships in the PRI, IIGCC, UN Global Compact, and FNG. Ownership is split between Raiffeisen Bank International AG at 57.4 percent and UNIQA Insurance Group AG at 40.1 percent, with GRAWE Bankengruppe as minority shareholder. This bank-insurance structure supplies captive pension flows and shapes the mandate toward conservative, sustainability-screened deployments rather than third-party fund raising.
