The underlying wealth comes from the late George Blanda, the Pro Football Hall of Fame quarterback and placekicker who played 26 seasons in the NFL — a professional longevity record at the time. His earnings included playing contracts with the Chicago Bears, Houston Oilers, and Oakland Raiders, along with endorsements and post-retirement business ventures such as a namesake restaurant chain. Following his death in 2010, the portfolio transitioned to a family trust structure administered through Arsenio Capital Management.
