Frequently asked questions
What is BellTower Partners' investment mandate?
The firm runs a concentrated, cross-asset mandate spanning public equities and private direct investments. Known areas of focus include enterprise technology and financial services, with a bias toward long-duration holds.
Does BellTower Partners participate in fund commitments or only direct deals?
BellTower's mandate includes both direct investments and strategic fund commitments, though the precise split is not publicly disclosed. The office uses fund relationships to access manager-specific strategies alongside its proprietary direct portfolio.
How does BellTower Partners' permanent-capital structure affect its strategy?
Without external limited partners or a fixed fund life, BellTower can hold positions well beyond typical venture- or growth-fund horizons. This structure removes forced-distribution pressures and allows the office to double down on winners through multiple market cycles.
