BPJS Ketenagakerjaan (also known as BPJAMSOSTEK) is an Indonesian government-mandated social security program. It provides protection for workers against various socio-economic risks, including workplace accidents, old age, death, pension, and unemployment. Formerly known as PT Jamsostek (Persero), it transformed into BPJS Ketenagakerjaan on January 1, 2014, and is responsible directly to the President of Indonesia.
