Established in 1958 as a benevolent fund for public servants, it was later instituted in 1985 as a Closed Complementary Pension Entity. Since 1992, CAPESESP has also operated as a private health care plan provider under the CAPESAÚDE brand, offering health assistance and pension benefits to its members.
