Cody Church established Clear North Capital in 2018 following his departure from TriWest Capital Partners, where he had served as Senior Managing Director since co-founding the firm in 1997. The office manages the resulting private-equity proceeds and concentrates on direct investments in lower mid-market companies headquartered in Canada. The firm targets buyout, growth, and seed opportunities across asset classes that include private equity, private credit, and direct co-investments via SPVs.
