Everglen Capital Partners LLP was established in 2015 by Jonathan Jawno, Michael Mendelowitz and Roberto Rossi. The three founders built their careers through Transaction Capital and its successor Nutun Limited, a JSE-listed BPO business. Their families use the London vehicle to deploy capital outside South Africa. The firm commits to direct co-investments, SPVs, private credit, private equity, real estate and secondaries. Positions include residential assets such as Russell House in Brighton and Vista Tower in Stevenage, plus the commercial property at 110 Cannon Street in London. It has also backed funds managed by Fiera Real Estate and co-invested alongside Heriot REIT. Activity spans Africa, Europe, North America and Asia. No headcount or AUM figures appear in public materials. The firm maintains two UK residential holdings and a specialized finance portfolio. In 2023 Blackstone acquired Industrials REIT, a vehicle previously managed by Everglen. Philanthropic vehicles attached to the Jawno and Mendelowitz families operate separately from the investment LLP. Governance rests with the three founders who retain board roles at Nutun Limited while directing Everglen through the London LLP. This structure keeps investment decisions inside a closed ownership group rather than an external CIO or investment committee.
