Falk F. Strascheg founded Extorel in 1997. He previously established Technologieholding in 1987, which became a leading early-stage investor in the German-speaking region before its sale to 3i Group in February 2000. Renate Strascheg co-founded multiple operating companies with her husband and later established the Renate und Falk Strascheg Stiftung focused on art, culture and monument preservation. The office allocates across direct co-investments, private equity and venture capital funds, hedge funds and real estate.
