Finite Management

Michael Schwab, the founder and sole Chief Investment Officer, makes all investment decisions. There is no investment committee beyond him, and he personally leads diligence on both venture and credit transactions. The office does not employ external portfolio managers.

Finite avoids blind-pool fund commitments entirely. The office executes direct equity investments in private companies and extends direct loans or participates in syndicated private credit facilities. There is no known allocation to third-party private equity, venture capital, or hedge funds as limited partner commitments.

Finite Management is a personal family office for Michael Schwab, son of Charles Schwab, who founded the Charles Schwab Corporation. The office is legally separate from the public company and manages private family capital, not assets of the brokerage firm or its clients.

Finite has not publicly disclosed formal exclusions, but its observable portfolio shows no exposure to energy, industrials, or life sciences. The focus remains tightly on enterprise software, fintech, and real estate credit.

Finite will co-invest alongside venture capital firms and private credit platforms where Michael Schwab has direct sponsor relationships, but it does not commit capital through blind-pool vehicles. Co-investments are transaction-specific and negotiated directly with the lead investor.

The management company itself does not house a foundation. The broader Schwab family maintains separate charitable vehicles, including donor-advised fund programs affiliated with the Charles Schwab Corporation, but these are operationally distinct from Finite's investment activities.

Finite focuses on private credit within commercial real estate, primarily originating bridge loans and mezzanine debt for office, multifamily, and mixed-use properties. The firm targets primary U.S. markets and does not appear to acquire real estate directly as a principal equity owner.
