The Hartinger Group traces its origins to 1935 when the family began assembling commercial real estate in southern Bavaria. Michael Hartinger, current managing director, leads the third generation. Wealth originated from the acquisition, development and ongoing management of office, retail and industrial buildings in Bavaria and Frankfurt. The office deploys capital exclusively into direct real estate and select equity positions. Core holdings include office buildings in Kolbermoor, Neu-Isenburg and Ismaning, industrial sites in Traunstein and Grassau, and mixed-use assets in Munich-Milbertshofen. Confirmed tenants comprise Steelcase, Bolt SA, MaxSolar GmbH and Bertrandt. The firm executes buyouts and growth-stage equity alongside property investments, all within Europe. Structures favor outright ownership and long-term leases rather than fund-of-funds or club vehicles. The group reports an estimated $200 million in assets under management. It maintains its headquarters in Rosenheim with no disclosed additional offices. In March 2026 the Michael Hartinger Holding GmbH acquired 100 percent of Felder – Der Gewerbespezialist, adding an operating platform for commercial brokerage. Philanthropic activity runs through the separate Familie Hartinger – Heimatstiftung established in 2019. The family office operates as an owner-managed vehicle with no external limited partners. Governance remains inside the Hartinger family while day-to-day asset and transaction management sits with Florian Kreuz. This integrated ownership-and-operations model distinguishes the firm from pure investment offices that outsource property management.
