Oman Oilfields Supply Centre was established in 1975 by Salim Hassan Macki. Macki had previously held senior government roles in Oman’s oil sector before moving into private enterprise. The firm began as an oilfield supply business and expanded under family ownership into a group that includes engineering, construction and real estate entities. Capital deployment occurs through direct ownership of operating companies and property assets. Confirmed holdings include Mysk Al Mouj Hotel, Bait Salam Building, Salam Properties projects in Egypt and industrial facilities in Oman. The group maintains exposure to real estate, infrastructure, natural resources and private equity. Geographic reach covers the Middle East, Africa and parts of Central Asia. Investment activity takes the form of direct co-investments and SPVs alongside selected partners such as Heritage Oil Limited and Bharat Oman Refineries Limited. The group employs more than 10,000 people. Additional offices support operations in the UAE.
