Surveyor Capital is one of Citadel's fundamental equity long/short businesses, operating as part of the firm's multi-manager platform. The firm functions as an autonomous unit with its own portfolio managers and investment mandates, but it utilizes Citadel's centralized risk management, trading, and technology infrastructure. This structure is common across Citadel's equity affiliates, which also include Ashler Capital and Global Equities.

Investment decisions at Surveyor are made by individual portfolio managers who run concentrated sector books. Each PM possesses significant autonomy over stock selection within their coverage area. All positions are subject to Citadel's centralized risk limits and factor controls, creating a hybrid model of decentralized decision-making within a tightly controlled risk framework.

Surveyor Capital pursues a bottom-up, fundamental equity long/short strategy across multiple sectors and geographies.
