Y K Almoayyed & Sons was founded in 1940 and remains a family-controlled investment entity chaired by Mohammed Farouk Almoayyed, who also directs the Bahrain Chamber of Commerce & Industry. The wealth was originally generated through exclusive distribution agreements with global automotive and industrial brands in Bahrain, creating an operating-company backbone that still shapes the family’s investment posture today. Mona Yousuf Almoayyed serves as Managing Director, making her one of the most prominent female business leaders in the GCC. The family allocates across real estate, private equity, and direct co-investment structures, with a geographic center in the Middle East & Central Asia. Confirmed property holdings include Almoayyed Tower in Seef, Silicon Plaza and Dubai Residential Properties in the UAE, the Farouk Garden residential development in Saleheya, and mixed-use buildings in Adliya.
