Abacus Capital was established as a multi-family office serving clients in Singapore and neighboring markets. Tan Chin Hwee, its principal, also holds the Asia-Pacific chief executive position at Trafigura and board seats at GIC Private Limited and the Singapore Exchange. The firm allocates across real estate, private equity, private credit, and venture capital. It executes direct co-investments and SPVs rather than relying solely on fund commitments. Confirmed holdings include The Maxwell, The Dillon, The Line, Novel Atherton, and the Florida Panhandle Self-Storage Portfolio.
