Dr. Sayd Farook is the network's Founder and drives the strategic and investment mandate alongside an operating committee. The committee vets applications and conducts due diligence before presenting the most promising startups to the full angel membership. Final investment decisions rest with individual angels, who may club their commitments after discussing deals collaboratively.

Deal flow flows through two primary channels: partnerships with reputable incubators in target Asian and African markets, and open applications from startups operating in the network's core geographies. The operating committee screens all submissions, and the full angel membership votes to advance approximately 10 to 12 ventures to a formal due diligence phase ahead of pitch days.

Neither. Falcon Network is a curated angel investment network, not a pooled fund. It connects 50 individual angel investors directly with seed-stage startups. Members commit a minimum of USD 50,000 within two years of joining, but each angel makes their own individual investment decisions after a collective evaluation and pitch-day process.

The network focuses on early-stage ventures, specifically at the seed and startup stages. Its mandate is built around providing seed capital and strategic advice to entrepreneurs who require proof points to raise further financing, addressing the classic 'chicken and egg' funding challenge that stymies early-stage growth in emerging ecosystems.

The network invests across high-growth markets in Asia and Africa, naming cities such as Dubai, Cairo, Lahore, and Jakarta as core hubs. Sector exposure spans cross-border FinTech, Mobility, AgTech, Digital Health, Logistics, and Enterprise Software, evidenced by portfolio companies such as Hubpay, Jatri, iFarmer, Saaya Health, and Truck Lagbe.

Founder Dr. Sayd Farook serves as Head of Group Strategy at Crescent Group while leading Falcon Network. Wes Schwalje of Tahseen Consulting is named as a frequent co-investor and strategic partner. Additionally, Farook is linked to the Crescent Foundation and the RFI Foundation, though investment activities under Falcon Network remain structurally distinct from these philanthropic and policy-focused entities.
