Kingsbridge does not operate with a single centralized CIO. Investment decisions appear to be disaggregated across the group's regional entities: Laura Maver Ward leads the US-based Kingsbridge Capital Partners, Dr. Suresh Tharma and Ashok Songra oversee the Kingsbridge Healthcare Group in Ireland, and the Asian real-asset and agriculture portfolios are managed through separate operational structures. The group has not publicly disclosed an investment committee or a consolidated decision-making framework, which means counterparties engaging with one Kingsbridge entity should not assume alignment with others.

Kingsbridge functions more like a holding company for founder-led investment platforms than a pure single-family office. The group includes Kingsbridge Capital Partners (US-based M&A and lower-mid-market private equity), Kingsbridge Wealth Management (Las Vegas), Kingsbridge Healthcare Group (Irish medical properties and clinical operations), and a set of real-asset and digital-asset portfolios. Each vertical has separate governance and named principals, making the overall structure a federation of regionally anchored businesses rather than a single pooled fund.

Kingsbridge has confirmed positions in Digital Currency Group (DCG) and the Bitcoin Investment Trust (GBTC), as well as direct mining investments. These represent an early institutional allocation to crypto infrastructure and bitcoin exposure. The group has not disclosed the size of these positions relative to its broader portfolio, but they sit alongside a predominantly real-asset-heavy allocation spanning real estate, healthcare, aviation, energy, and agriculture.

Kingsbridge does both through its Kingsbridge Healthcare Group arm, co-founded by Dr. Suresh Tharma and Ashok Songra. The group owns and operates healthcare properties — commercial medical facilities across Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland — and runs clinical services directly. This owner-operator model blends real estate returns with operational healthcare revenue, distinguishing it from a passive healthcare REIT or property fund.

Kingsbridge sources US transactions primarily through the professional networks of Laura Maver Ward, who chaired the M&A Source in 2019 and sits on the Board of Governors of the International Business Brokers Association. Kingsbridge Capital Partners is also a founding member of the Cornerstone International Alliance, a consortium of lower-middle-market M&A advisory firms. These affiliations give the group access to proprietary divestiture and growth-stage deal flow in the sub-$100 million enterprise-value range, particularly in the residential real estate and home-equity investment sectors where it holds portfolios across more than 20 states.
