MHS relies on the senior team’s personal networks built over 50-plus years of collective Nordic investment banking experience, augmented by its exclusive Danish partnership with Clairfield International, which gives it access to cross-border origination across more than 30 countries. The firm’s independence from large financial institutions means it does not source deals through a parent bank’s lending relationships, which the firm views as a clean-origination advantage in the Danish mid-market.

It is an independent financial advisory firm — a pure M&A boutique — not a family office, asset manager deploying its own capital, or a fund investor. MHS gives advice and runs sale and acquisition processes for Nordic companies; it does not manage a balance sheet or a pool of committed third-party capital.

MHS does not make fund commitments. The firm’s output is advisory mandates — company sales, buy-side searches, management buyouts and buy-ins — which it runs as a project-based adviser for corporate clients, not as a principal investor.
