The firm actively co-invests. In the Edsby transaction, MindAngler deployed capital alongside Byye Management — the family office of SMART Technologies co-founders Nancy Knowlton and David Martin — and XDL Capital Group, led by Dennis Bennie. This co-investor group suggests a preference for partnering with operators who have domain expertise in enterprise technology and education.

Edsby is the only publicly confirmed portfolio company. Edsby provides a K-12 learning management and student-wellness platform used by school districts across Canada, the United States, and New Zealand. The investment is notable not only for the company's international reach but for the co-investor syndicate: the founders of SMART Technologies, whose interactive whiteboards are ubiquitous in North American classrooms, and XDL Capital Group, a longstanding Canadian venture firm.

Nigel Stokes is a Founding Fellow in the G7 stream at the Creative Destruction Lab, a mentorship-driven accelerator founded at the University of Toronto. This role involves advising early-stage, science-based startups and provides a structured pipeline for potential investments. The relationship is professional and mentorship-driven rather than an institutional partnership; CDL does not take equity in the startups it advises, and Stokes invests independently from his CDL activities.
